Our Story So Far Rochelle is working on writing a more complete version of the story of how we met, but here's a synopsis: Independence Day 1998: We met at a party at Michael's sister's house. First kiss. A week later: First date, second kiss. Next couple weeks: More dates, more firsts (and seconds, and thirds...). They're really good. ;-) Labor Day 1998: Michael makes his statement of intent (very drunk). A month later: Official proposal (sober). Thanksgiving 1998: Rochelle gives Michael one last chance to change his mind. "Once I tell my family, if you back out, I'm sending my brothers after you!" May 1999: Engagement bathtub is first used. Independence Day 1999: The wedding!
